*Must attend a four year accredited HBCU
* Must be a Hamden resident as well as a Hamden High School Senior
* Must be a minority student of Hamden High School
* Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
* Must have actively participated in a minimum of two community service events during high school tenure
* Must have been active in a minimum of two extracurricular activities during High School tenure
* Students should prepare an essay on the pre-assigned topic below
*Eligible Majors- Open
