On behalf of M.O.V.E Book Award we would like to congratulate Imani Canton for being selected as the 2014 M.O.V.E. Book Award recipient. Her passion for medicine and black feminism was evident in her application and in our initial conversations. We are ecstatic to help her accomplish her life goals and believe that she will change the world with those goals.
Imani will attend Spelman College in August 2014 majoring in Biology. M.O.V.E. was able to provide her with $500 towards her books for the 2011 school year.
We wish Imani the best in her undergraduate experiences. Go Jaguars!
